Monday 5th September: Post-graduate and early career writing workshop

On Monday 5th September, we invite post-graduate and early career researchers interseted in the field of new drugs to participate in a writing workshop.

The aim is to generate and develop ideas for articles that highlight the intersections between new drugs research and the wider field of illicit drugs.  We have agreed to produce a special issue of ‘Drugs: Education, Prevention and Policy’ on this theme, and it is anticipated that attendees at the workshop will contribute to this venture.

The workshop will be facilitated by Dr Kate O’Brien (Durham University), Professor Shane Blackman (Canterbury Christchurch University), and Dr Caroline Chatwin (University of Kent).

Funding is availalbe for travel and accommodation for those who wish to attend this workshop.  The workshop is followed on Tuesday 6th September by a new drugs mini-conference.  All attendees at the workshop are also encouraged to attend this event.
